Beginner Camp:

9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.

When campers arrive we will catch all the horses and get
them groomed. Campers will learn to groom the whole horse including cleaning their hooves. Then campers will tack up their horses. Campers will ride for about 45 minutes then take a snack/water break. Then campers will ride another 45 minutes then take a lunch break. Students will then untack horses, feed them and put them away. The remaining time will be spent caring for horses, playing games, and doing crafts.

Beginner Riding Camp (Western and English): (ages 5-14)

This camp is specifically geared for students who want to
try both English and western riding.

Students will learn to catch their own horse, groom their
horse, and tack up their own horse. Students are on a lounge line so that the
student can learn to control their body and strengthen the muscles needed to
control the horse. This includes learning to walk and trot. The student will
also learn the proper steering techniques using legs, seats, and reins while
riding independently in the arena.

All Camps will teach both English and Western riding.
